Paanvuu Safaris Disclaimer

We strive to ensure that the information contained on our website and in our promotional material is accurate and up to date. However, supplier information can change and errors can regrettably occur. We reserve the right to amend and/or give notice to any changes at the time of booking and recommend that you undertake a level of independent research or speak to one of our experienced sales advisors should you wish to clarify any information.

1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE

1.1 Acceptance

Making a booking with the Company is taken as acceptance by the Client of these Terms and Conditions; These Terms and Conditions have been provided to the Client simultaneously with the booking form. By submitting a deposit or personal information, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. In addition, these Terms and Conditions shall, unless otherwise provided, be deemed incorporated by reference into any additional agreement or contract for the booking of travel plans executed by the parties. Once the booking form and initial deposit have been received and accepted by the Company, the booking is confirmed, and the Client(s) becomes liable to make all payments for the trip and any cancellation or amendment fees that may subsequently arise.

1.2 Booking terms

Booking a safari is often an iterative process where we will have numerous discussions, and you will probably be provided with a number of different quotations with various options for Safari itineraries, locations, accommodation, etc. Once this process is completed and you are ready to proceed to book, Paanvuu Safaris requires a 50% deposit payment to confirm your booking.

1.3 Payment terms

  • Full payment must be made 14 days before departure.
  • You can make payments using the following methods: We accept Visa, and MasterCard, Paanvuu Flutterwave account, Wire transfer to the Paanvuu bank accounts, and Cash.

2. CANCELLATION

2.1 Before the tour:

The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs Paanvuu safaris incurs before individuals or groups ever depart. Notice of consolation from Paanvuu safaris’ trip/safari will only be accepted from the traveler, his or her legal guardian or the group leader. The date of cancellation will be determined by the date on which Paanvuu safaris Ltd receives notice.

Cancellation refunds can only be made to the person whose name appears on the account; payments cannot be transferred to another account. In order to qualify for refunds in accordance with Paanvuu safaris’ standard cancellation policy, all payments must be received on time.

Paanvuu safaris’ standard cancellation policy Cancellation with replacement
91 days or more prior to departure: full refund less a $50 administrative fee, and all non-refundable fees. 91 days or more prior departure: 100% full refund less non-refundable fees.
90 to 61 days prior to departure: 50% of package price is non refundable. 90 days or less prior to departure: replacements can no longer be accepted and Paanvuu Safaris’ standard cancellation policy will apply.
60 to 31 days prior departure: 75% of the package price is non refundable.
30 or less days prior to departure: No refund will be issued.

Cancellation with replacement: refers to a traveler who cancels but finds a person to replace Him/Her for the same program. The replacement’s enrollment form must be submitted at the same time as the notification of cancellation.

Non-refundable fees are any fees imposed by government, Bank, airlines, among others, such as gorilla permits fees and airline tickets and can no longer be reclaimed or transferred.

Please note the following:

No partial refunds will be given for unused meals, hotel rooms, activities, airport transfers etc.., for any reason whatsoever.

Paanvuu Safaris reserves the rights to increase the tour price in the event of cost increase due to changes in airfares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, fuel surcharges, taxes, etc… Paanvuu Safaris reserves the rights to alter the tour without notice.

Paanvuu Safaris is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the trip (e.g. visa fees, immunizations, insurance, equipment, etc..) or for any necessary additional travel arrangements should you embark from home before the departure date. Accommodations are subject to change.

2.1.a. By the Client:

Cancellation and changes to the original booking must be confirmed by the person who made the booking and signing. Cancellation instructions by you must be in writing by email to us and will be deemed received on the day when we receive such instructions as provided.

Depending on when notification of cancellation is received, cancellation charges will apply as follows:

  • Cancellation 12 weeks prior to travel, deposit non-refundable.
  • Cancellation prior to 8 weeks of travel – Full 30% deposit is forfeited.
  • Cancellation 8 – 4 weeks prior to travel — 50% of the tour cost is forfeited.
  • Cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to travel – 100% of the total cost is forfeited.

We cannot give any allowance or refund for meals, accommodation, transport, or other pre-paid services not taken when these are included in the tour price nor once the tour has started. We don’t give any refunds for canceling part of the tour.

3. Pricing Errors.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the pricing information provided, regrettably errors may occasionally occur. When we become aware of any such error, we will endeavor to notify you at the time of booking (if we are then aware of the mistake), within 7 days of the time of booking, or as soon as reasonably possible. If a booking is already in place, you will have the choice to continue with the chosen itinerary at the corrected price or amend to a different holiday. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if you do not wish to accept the price that applies to your holiday or any quoted alternatives.

4. FORCE MAJEURE

In these Booking Conditions “force majeure” means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events are likely to include war, or threat of war, terrorist activities, civil strife, riots, industrial action, disease, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of airports or ports, government action, and all similar events. We cannot and do not accept liability where the performance or prompt performance, of our contractual obligations, is prevented by reasons of circumstance amounting to “force Majeure“. In the event of a cancellation or material alteration to the journey as a result of the circumstances as described in this clause, Paanvuu Safaris may in its sole and absolute discretion:

  • Offer the client(s) alternative travel arrangements or products of comparable standard as may be appropriate in the circumstances; or
  • If alternative travel arrangements or products are not offered by Paanvuu Safaris, we will provide a travel credit to the guest equal to the value of the trip less any sums Paanvuu Safaris is not able to recover from any supplier.
