Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy forms part of the safari booking agreement between Paanvuu Safaris Ltd and its guests. By confirming a booking, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms outlined below.
1. Booking & Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking.
- The balance must be paid at least 45 days before departure.
- Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at confirmation.
- Failure to make payments by the due date may result in cancellation of services.
2. Payment Methods
Payments may be made via WeTravel link from Paanvuu Safaris, Bank transfer, or cash payment at our office.
3. Non-Refundable Costs
Gorilla permits, chimpanzee permits, airline tickets, visa fees, government taxes, bank charges, processing fees, and supplier deposits classified as non-refundable will be deducted from any eligible refund.
4. Cancellation with Replacement
A booking may be transferred to another traveler subject to supplier approval and any amendment fees.
5. Force Majeure
Paanvuu Safaris shall not be liable for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control including disease outbreaks, travel advisories, border closures, natural disasters, political instability, civil unrest, airline disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
6. Changes Requested by the Client
Changes after confirmation are subject to availability and may attract additional supplier or operational charges.
7. Cancellation by Paanvuu Safaris
If a safari is cancelled by Paanvuu Safaris for reasons within our control, clients may choose either a full refund of monies paid to Paanvuu Safaris or rescheduling to a future date.
8. Refund Processing Approved
Refunds will normally be processed within 30–60 business days after recovery of funds from third-party suppliers.
9. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests.
10. Limitation of Liability
Paanvuu Safaris acts as an agent for accommodation providers, airlines, parks, and other suppliers and shall not be responsible for losses or delays caused by third parties.
